Account Specialist

We have an excellent opportunity for an Account Specialist located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, CA.

Summary:

Provide regional/national account management in order to ensure effective and efficient account services and contract interpretation for dealer /end users via BTA, TBS, International and BCS channels to meet established business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage account base to obtain commitments, interpret contracts and negotiate terms with dealers.
  • Determine if commitments are met by contracted dealers and ensure appropriate service coverage for account base. To include but not limited to installation management and service of TABS equipment.
  • Analyze and make decisions regarding product availability and allocation priority.
  • Identify problematic areas via project/account management tools and develop recommendations for corrective action.
  • Oversee order, pricing, and invoice accuracy through to installation and appropriate compensation to involved dealers. To include but not limited to equipment configurations, pricing, discounts and product allocation decisions.
  • Negotiate financial compromises up to $50,000 per instance (to include, but not limited to equipment orders, product shortages, lost or damaged products). Develop course of action to ensure accounts are in compliance with established contracts resulting in minimal risk. Assess special order requests and determine the best course of action.
  • Responsible for J-Sox compliance within account base and adherence to company policy.
  • Provide training as required to ensure a smooth transition of new customers and dealers.
  • Oversee communication and roll out of new Customer and Marketing programs and facilitate proper execution of products and services.
  • Develop reports, monitor and assess dealer to customer performance, disposition requests and oversee asset conversions and equipment upgrades.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience acceptable.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a combination of the following areas; complex account management, inventory management, contract administration/interpretation, customer service, captive lease programs and project management at a regional or national level.
  • Experience with facilitation of pre/post-sales account programs and performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems and make sound interpretations and decisions.
  • Good verbal and written communication.

  • The position is Salaried / Exempt (paid biweekly)/Annual Base Pay Range: $64,480.00 to $71,000.00 depending on experience.
